Essay
When the morning bell rings, my feet turn towards school on their own. My school is not just a building for me; it is my second home. My school is called "Nutan Vidyalaya". It stands in the middle of our village, in the shade of green trees.
Our school building has two floors and is clean and beautiful. Every classroom has big windows, a blackboard and benches to sit on. In front of the school there is a large playground. We hold our morning assembly there every day and play during the lunch break. At the edge of the playground there is a small flower garden, and we students look after it ourselves.
Our teachers are very loving and believe in discipline. They make even difficult subjects easy by explaining them with stories and examples. Our school has a library with many books of stories, science and the lives of great people. We have great fun doing experiments in the science laboratory, and we understand new things.
Many activities take place at school throughout the year. We celebrate Independence Day, Republic Day, tree plantation, sports competitions and the annual gathering with great enthusiasm. These activities make us confident and teach us to help one another.
My school has not only taught me letters and numbers; it has also taught me the value of time, cleanliness, telling the truth and respecting elders. I have made many good friends here. Wherever I go when I grow up, the memories of my school will always stay in my heart. I love my school very much, and I will always try to bring it a good name.
